Janani's colon cancer treatment fund
Janani is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Janani was diagnosed with colon cancer in March. The oncology team at Pune University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Janani is 54, worked as a taxi driver until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Pune University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $600 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $105
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95
• Transport to Pune University Hospital: $160
• Household costs while unable to work: $240
