Jamila needs display cabinets and a cooler to reopen a flower stall
Jamila lost display cabinets and a cooler to floodwater and needs $900 to reopen a flower stall and support the family.

For four years I have run a flower stall in Jeddah. In July, floodwater took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $900 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $115
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $420
• Working capital for the first month: $365
I hope life is good to you.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jamila
Shop repairs and licensing is $115 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
Sending strength, Jamila. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Saket but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Jeddah.
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Makkah. I'll ask around and let you know!
Sending love. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best
