I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,350 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $690 • Labor charges: $125 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $350 • Towing and inspection: $185 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Jacob

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($137 in total) I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
