Jack was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April. The oncology team at Jacksonville Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Jack is 35, worked as a bus conductor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jacksonville Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $10,250 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250 • Scans and lab work: $1,300 • Transport to Jacksonville Regional Medical Center: $1,200 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $970 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,530 With deep gratitude, Madeline
