Jacaranda Primary School needs a playground - Camila's neighborhood project

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $350, and the remaining cost is $950. It will serve about 402 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
