Jacaranda Park needs a solar-powered water pump - Ghassan's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $355 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $75, and the remaining cost is $355.
It will serve about 377 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
