Jacaranda Park needs a playground - Sami's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $3,000 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,000.
It will serve about 284 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $420
• Materials: $2,050
• Tools hire and delivery: $530
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
