Ivan's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Ivan was cleared for knee replacement surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Ivan was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in September. The surgeon at Kharkiv Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,100, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $1,550 short.
my father has been in and out of Kharkiv Community Hospital since September. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ivan struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Ivan won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
