Iván's hip replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

In July I was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc. My surgeon at Ciudad de México General Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for September. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $3,000, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $1,500 short.
