Isla needs display cabinets and a cooler to reopen a flower stall
A flower stall in Rochester needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after floodwater.
🇺🇸 New York, United States1,619 views
For three years I have run a flower stall in Rochester. In July, floodwater took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $880
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $460
• Shop repairs and licensing: $460
• Working capital for the first month: $400
Thanks for being kind about this.

Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Rochester.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Magelang
Thinking of you and your family, Isla. I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
