Ishita was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Mississauga Orthopedic Institute recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $4,450 short.
my mother has been in and out of Mississauga Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ishita struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Ishita won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
