I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Seattle Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,400. My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $6,400 goes: • adapted tricycle: $5,750 • Fitting and training sessions: $280 • Delivery and set-up: $145 • First-year servicing plan: $225 With deep gratitude, Isabelle
