In March an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $800 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $75.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Blessings.
Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to São Paulo so I could bring a meal. Love from Jerusalem.
Praying for you, Camila. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Niterói!
You're not alone, Camila. Your post was clear and honest. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
