In August an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,450 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $240.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Love from Reading.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My neighbor in Córdoba donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
Thinking of you, Luna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Please keep us posted. God bless
