Irena's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Irena won a place at the Łódź Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at the Łódź Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $350, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $350 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $100
• Textbooks and workbooks: $115
• Laptop: $135
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
