Ingrid lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Munich Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,500. Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Ingrid could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $6,500 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $125 • prosthetic leg: $6,000 • Fitting and training sessions: $375 Thank you so much.
