Ines's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
Ines is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ines was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Mecca Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Ines is 55, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mecca Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,600
• Transport to Mecca Cancer Centre: $560
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $390
