I make my living with my pickup. 3 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• rear axle replacement (parts): $185
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Wishing you the best, Indira. Your post was clear and honest.
Sending strength, Indira. Small businesses are the heart of Muzaffarpur. Hope you're open again soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
good luck, Indira. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Muzaffarpur.
