Ziad lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Marrakesh General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Ziad could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $60
