Yoav lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Beersheba General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,950. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Yoav could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $6,950 goes: • braille note-taker: $6,500 • Fitting and training sessions: $150 • Delivery and set-up: $135 • First-year servicing plan: $165 Thank you so much.
