Independence for Umesh: prosthetic leg
A prosthetic leg would give Umesh independence - we're $500 away.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at Nashik General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $500 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• prosthetic leg: $400
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Ciudad de México.
Sending strength. Get well soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
take care, Umesh. Get well soon. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless
hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Nashik
