Sunil lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Mumbai Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,400. His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Sunil could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,400 goes: • adapted tricycle: $1,300 • Fitting and training sessions: $35 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $45 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Ankit

    • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

      • Hang in there, Ankit. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Kathmandu
