Independence for Sumon: specialist standing frame
Sumon needs a specialist standing frame that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,200.

Sumon lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Dhaka Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Sumon could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• specialist standing frame: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $15
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $25
Every share and every dollar helps.
