Shahana lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Cox's Bazar Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $355. Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Shahana could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $355 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $20 • braille note-taker: $330 • Delivery and set-up: $5 Thanks for being kind about this.
