Independence for Serenity: adapted tricycle
An adapted tricycle would give Serenity independence - we're $700 away.
🇺🇸 United States516 views
Serenity lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the St. Petersburg Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Serenity could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $230
• Delivery and set-up: $230
• First-year servicing plan: $240
Every share and every dollar helps.

Praying for you, Alyssa. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
