Independence for Sebastian: pair of hearing aids
Help Sebastian get a pair of hearing aids so He can speak with the people around him.
🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom965 views
Sebastian lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at London General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,100.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Sebastian could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $5,100 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $4,450
• Fitting and training sessions: $290
• Delivery and set-up: $165
• First-year servicing plan: $195

Thanks for sharing this, Julia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
