Independence for Rosa: cochlear implant processor upgrade
Help Rosa get a cochlear implant processor upgrade so She can join the school sports day.
🇨🇴 Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia876 views
Rosa lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Cali Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Rosa could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $850
• Fitting and training sessions: $95
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $80
Thanks for being kind about this.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Cali
Thinking of you and your family. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
Hang in there, Iván. Hope the doctors have good news. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out
Thinking of you and your family, Iván. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
