Independence for Rohan: adapted tricycle
Help Rohan get an adapted tricycle so He can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇮🇳 India1,010 views
Rohan lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Agra Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Rohan could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $400 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $300
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Wishing you the best, Prakash. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Good luck, Prakash. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
