Independence for Reza: adapted tricycle

An adapted tricycle would give Reza independence - we're $800 away.

Reza lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Bandung Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Reza could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $800 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $10 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • adapted tricycle: $760 Glad we found this place.

sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Gazipur
