Independence for Revathi: cochlear implant processor upgrade
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Revathi independence - we are $100 away.
🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India356 views
Revathi lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Pune Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Revathi could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $50
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
