Independence for Rashmi: specialist standing frame
Rashmi needs a specialist standing frame that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,300.

Rashmi lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Surat Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Rashmi could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• specialist standing frame: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $55
Every share and every dollar helps.
