I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Mangaluru Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $50

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rajeshwari.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. delivery and set-up comes first ($25) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
