Independence for Rajeshwari: prosthetic leg
Help Rajeshwari get a prosthetic leg so She can attend work interviews.
🇮🇳 Karnataka, India50 views
Rajeshwari lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Hubballi Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,500.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Rajeshwari could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• First-year servicing plan: $25
• prosthetic leg: $1,430
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
