Independence for Rahma: cochlear implant processor upgrade
Help Rahma get a cochlear implant processor upgrade so She can join the school sports day.
🇪🇬 6th of October City, Giza, Egypt30 views
Rahma lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at 6th of October City General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Rahma could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $15
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $60
Thanks for reading all this.
