Independence for Pari: cochlear implant processor upgrade

A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Pari independence - we're $100 away.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at Nagpur General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $100 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $25 • First-year servicing plan: $25 • Fitting and training sessions: $50 With deep gratitude, Pari
