Independence for Novi: braille note-taker

Novi lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Jakarta Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,400. Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Novi could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
