Independence for Noel: pair of hearing aids
A pair of hearing aids would give Noel independence - we're $600 away.
Anywhere in the world493 views
Noel lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Bacoor General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Noel could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• pair of hearing aids: $500
• First-year servicing plan: $70

Wishing you the best, Carmela. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We're a small family in Strasbourg but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Carmela. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Bacoor.
Rooting for you, Carmela. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
