Independence for Neha: stair-climbing aid
Help Neha get a stair-climbing aid so She can attend work interviews.
🇮🇳 India1,007 views
Neha lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Noida General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Neha could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $450 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $390
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Praying for you, Ananya. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Noida.
