Independence for Nao: braille note-taker
Nao needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $6,050.

Nao lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Kitakyushu Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,050.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Nao could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
