Independence for Mussa: communication tablet with eye tracking
Mussa needs a communication tablet with eye tracking that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,300.

I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at Likoni General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $55
Thank you for reading my story.
