Mukasa needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,050.

Mukasa lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Fort Portal Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Mukasa could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
