Independence for Mousumi: pair of hearing aids
A pair of hearing aids would give Mousumi independence - we're $850 away.

Mousumi lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Aurangabad Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $850.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Mousumi could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $850 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $750
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Priya. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Hope it all works out. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Please keep us posted
Best of luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Jodhpur.
