Mónica lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Barcelona Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,600.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Mónica could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

• Fitting and training sessions: $100
• Delivery and set-up: $75
• First-year servicing plan: $225
