Independence for Marcos: stair-climbing aid
Help Marcos get a stair-climbing aid so He can speak with the people around him.
🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia565 views
Marcos lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Cartagena Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Marcos could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.
