Márcia lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at São Paulo General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900. Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Márcia could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $900 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $115 • communication tablet with eye tracking: $730 • Fitting and training sessions: $55 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Cláudia
