Independence for Malathi: specialist standing frame

Malathi lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Mumbai Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $850. Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Malathi could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
