Independence for Mahin: braille note-taker
A braille note-taker would give Mahin independence - we're $650 away.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at Gazipur General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $650.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $650 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• braille note-taker: $600
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Stay strong, Mahin. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Kharkiv
You're not alone, Mahin. Wishing Mahin a smooth procedure and a full recovery. After 17 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Kingston!
You're not alone, Mahin. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Gazipur
