Dundee
Luke lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Dundee General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,000. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Luke could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $3,000 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $2,350 • Fitting and training sessions: $210 • Delivery and set-up: $170 • First-year servicing plan: $270 Every share and every dollar helps. - Thomas
