Independence for Lillian: stair-climbing aid
A stair-climbing aid would give Lillian independence - we are $600 away.
Anywhere in the world576 views
Lillian lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Ottawa Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Lillian could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $600 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $240
• Delivery and set-up: $105
• First-year servicing plan: $255
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
