Liliana lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Sacramento General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,900.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Liliana could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

• Fitting and training sessions: $210
• Delivery and set-up: $150
• First-year servicing plan: $290
